ob Title: Laboratory Assistant, Services Job Type: Full Time Non-Exempt Location: Pullman, WA Description The Services Division of VMRD Inc. performs virology and microbiology regulatory testing on animal origin products that are sent to us both domestically and internationally. The Laboratory Assistant (LA) will aide Services Scientists in daily laboratory operations including cell culture work, microbiological work, and various other assays. Due to the sensitivity and large volume of testing performed in the laboratory, the LA must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, be detail oriented, communicate effectively among co-workers, follow/repeat instructions, and effectively multi-task. Although this is an entry level position, it provides an excellent opportunity to acquire new skills and laboratory knowledge for more advanced roles at VMRD. Responsibilities Learn and maintain proficiency in following all assigned laboratory SOPs.
