Elementary Education Major in Staunton, Va - (Staunton, VA)

As of May 21, 2017, I am a Mary Baldwin University graduate. I have a degree in Elementary Education. I have a few years of experience in a professional setting, but more experience outside of those. As a junior and senior in high school, I took an Early Childhood Education class. With this class, I gained 1st hand experience in a classroom setting. As a junior, I worked in a kindergarten class and as a senior, I worked in a preschool class. On top of the classroom setting, I worked in a gym daycare for 6 mnths. There, I worked with children as young as 6 weeks old and as old as 13 yrs. Throughout college I have completed multiple practicum placements. I have worked in "typical" classrooms and with SPED students. I have also been babysitting through here since I was eighteen and through family friends since I was 14.
