I have been a private music teacher for 30 yrs and a classroom teacher for fifteen years; teaching thousands of students. I have a gentle, effective way or teaching music utilizing many methods. I have taught children to read music before they could read written words. Many of my students have gone on to have highly successful careers as musicians, recording artists, and music educators. I believe every student has the ability to play an instrument despite any difficulty they may have encountered learning in the classroom.
