Hello I became a caregiver when my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer. For 2 yrs I was his caregiver,i had to administer intravenous meds ,sugar control, i had to Cath him all phases of his care .I was also his caregiver during his hospice stage . I found that taking care of a loved 1 was very fulfilling and after my husband passed I decided to become a full time caregiver and have taken care of 2 dementia patients during the past 3 yrs .
