Experienced, Loving Cat and Dog Sitter - (Staten Island, NY)

My name is Dorothy, and I am an active, mature woman. For over ten years I have been providing full time care and companionship for pets who remain in their homes while their families travel. Along with feeding and waste cleanup, I have experience administering medicine, including injections. After a career in broadcast tv, I started pet sitting for neighbors and friends. I found that I enjoyed caring for other people's animals, since each cat and dog has his/her own distinct personality. 2 of the families for whom I started pet sitting ten years ago still call upon me to care for their pets when they travel. What I most want people to know about me is that I am attentive and affectionate with cats and dogs for whom I care. Also, I am respectful to the home and possessions of any family who engages me. In addition to caring for pet(s), I am happy to pick up mail and receive any deliveries while you are away. Upon your return home, you will find a dog/cat who was happy to stay in his or her own home.
