Bashdar Sdiq - (Kalamazoo, MI)

I have recently completed my master's degree in Cello Performance, and I have a B.A. and Diploma (5yrs studying after middle school) in General Music. I have multiple skills experiences. These include 14 yrs of performing and playing cello with Sulaymaniyah orchestra in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, the National Youth Orchestra of Iraq as well as with the WMU Symphony Orchestra in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I gained approx six years of teaching experience in total at Shahid Jafar Fine Arts Institute – Koysinjaq, Iraq (September 2007-May 2008) as a part-time cello instructor, as well as an instructor at the Sulaymaniyah Fine Arts Institute–Sulaymaniyah City, Iraq (September 2012-January 2013) where I taught cello, folklore, the beginner class of choir , orchestra, and music history. Lastly, I have teaching experience at the University of Sulaimani School of Basic Education in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, where I taught 1 semester-long general music course (September 2012-January 2013).
