Hello, My name is Ashley E. Sanchez and I am very interested in your position for a graphic designer. I have recently completed a Bachelor of Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In my previous position at the UIC Publications, I started as a part-time junior designer and within 12 mons, I was put in charge of the graphic design for many of the University’s publications. In this position, I was responsible for layout, pre-press, and the preparation of print files while working closely with the senior editor, production staff, and printers. I am able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and ensure the work is produced at the highest level. I have experience designing magazine pages, advertisements, brochures, flyers, and web sites. I enjoy working in a creative team and have the ability to communicate with managers and colleagues alike. As such, I believe I can make a significant contribution to your team.
