Writing, editing, proofreading - (West Milford, NJ)

Effective communication requires technical correctness and creativity, both of which I offer with experience and enthusiasm! I have been writing and editing since 1994, when I graduated from NYU with an MA in English Instruction (For Learners of Other Languages). From 1994-1996 I was an adjunct professor of ESL at Passaic County Community College in Paterson, NJ, and from 1997-1999 I owned and operated my own English school in the Dominican Republic. In 2001 I was Sr. Editor for Exceptional Parent Magazine, having started there as a proofreader in 1999. Since that time I have been in the financial industry working for several large financial institutions. For 5 of these years, while in banking, I lived in the Caribbean and the Middle East. I have also lived in Europe, another stint in the Caribbean, and I have spent approximately 1 year, all told, in SE Asia.
