I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant since 2014. I have worked in a long term nursing facility and also with a home health agency. I have taken care of various patients from those who are bed bound and need total assistance to individuals who only need little assistance. I have provided patients with personal hygiene by assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths. I help with activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals. I check vital signs and weight, recording intake and output details. I perform light house duty per request of client or clients family. I also transfer clients to and from doctors appointments and run errands.
