Hi, my name is Kira and I am a Biology and Pre-Vet student from Colorado State University who is home for the summer. I love to go on hikes and bring the dogs that I look after to the Dog Beach at Lighthouse field, on walks in Henry Cowell State Park, Wilder Ranch, and Nisene Marks. Another passion of mine besides animals is oil painting, especially landscapes and animals. I care for and have experience with dogs, cats, birds, fish, horses, goats, and pigs. However, I am happy to meet and learn about any other animals! My qualifications include: - 4yrs at a horse ranch, where I rode, exercised, fed, groomed, and taught lessons. - 3 Yrs at the Santa Cruz Animal Shelter where I worked with dogs, exercising and giving them TLC. - Five Years as a pet sitter for neighbors, where I walked, fed, and looked after dogs, cats, and birds. - 1yr as a intern for Dr. Terry, where I assisted in large animal appointments such as cows, horses, and goats.
