Dental Assistant Pediatrics, U of Minnesota - (Minneapolis, MN)

Required Qualifications: -Graduate from accredited dental assisting course -Currently *DANB certified and Licensed as a Dental Assistant in Minnesota. -Nitrous Oxide Certified ** -Able to demonstrate working knowledge of dental materials and procedures in child dental assisting. -Experience working with children or minors in a Dental setting. * A trainee option (4 mnth max) is possible if time is needed to obtain DANB certification. ** A trainee option (4 mnth max) is possible if time is needed to obtain Nitrous Oxide Certification. This MUST be done within 4 mons of hire date or person will no longer be qualified to hold position and the position will be terminated. Preferred Qualifications: -More than 2 yrs of experience in Pediatric Dentistry clinic or work experience in Pediatric Dentistry in general clinic or hospital is highly preferred -Experience taking digital radiographs -Experience training/teaching others in a Dental environment (Assistants, Dentists, students, etc).
