SUNSHINE - A SERVICE DOG SUNSHINE - SERVICE DOG Sunshine... the perfect name for a sweet girl who has brought such love and caring to her very special boy, Bear. Sunshine was adopted in 2011 and became a service dog (not professionally trained but trained by her owners) for a mentally challenged young boy. The 2 were inseparable and she helped him immeasurably. Sunshine's boy is no longer able to be cared for by his mother and has moved into another home. Mom is no longer able to care for Sunshine, and now, Sunshine needs a forever home. She is a beautiful golden yellow lab, as sweet, gentle, loving and obedient as can be. She is now approx six years young, and now she needs to find a loving home. She will fit into any family, make a great companion for a senior, special needs person or perhaps it is HER turn just to be loved and needed!
