Veterinary assistant animal caretaker - (Colorado Springs, CO)
I love animals, all animals and have dedicated my life and education to them. I currently work at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant and kennel technician. I have experience caring for animals in their owners home where they are most comfortable and am able to administer medications including insulin and performing blood level glucose testing for diabetics. I have volunteered and interned at several animal rescues including wild blue animal rescue and sanctuary, national mill dogs rescue, and greener pastures farm sanctuary. I have experience caring for all different kinds of animals including cats, dogs, small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, exotics and farm animals. I have a degree in zookeeping technology, am acquiring a bachelors in biology and aspire to be a wildlife veterinarian. I am very compassionate, loving and responsible when caring for animals and my goal is to provide the best care possible for every animal.
